This ammunition is made in Azerbaijan. It is nicely made, with a good finish, lacquered cases, and the case mouths have a sealant around the bullet for increased weatherproofing. The bullets are 65 grains, which makes them 5 grains heavier than most commercial 5.45 loads, and 12-15 grains heavier than the steel-core military loads. The accuracy is on par with the Wolf 60 grain commercial loads. Not really better or worse. However, this ammunition would NOT chamber in either of my 5.45x39 AR rifles. They are from different manufacturers, and they will chamber anything else I have run through them. But neither of them would take these bullets. On the other hand, the Russian-made Saiga had no issues with feeding or shooting it. Just something to be aware of if you are planning on running this through an AR. Don't buy a ton of it without checking to make sure it functions in your particular rifle. That being said, this is pretty much the only commercial 5.45 ammunition available, other than the hunting loads by Hornaday. So I am stocking up on it while I can.
