At the beginning of the 20th century, in 1924, the "GB" cartridge was born in Eibar. On the initiative of the eibarrés D. Jacinto Gárate, who created the company Gárate y Block, appeared in the Spanish market one of the pioneers in the Spanish market of hunting and competition ammunition. In 1966 and due to the good reception of GB cartridges, the company expanded its facilities and moved to Vitoria.
