Free Shipping on Bulk Ammo & Firearms
- Bulk ammo orders ship FREE when purchased in case quantities.
- AMMO+ and AMMO+ Business members receive additional shipping benefits.
Shipping Insurance & Damage Claims
- Shipping insurance is available to cover lost or damaged merchandise.
- Only damaged cartridges are eligible for claims; superficial packaging damage does not qualify.
Shipping Methods & Restrictions
Ammunition & Non-Firearm Items:
Shipped via UPS Ground (lower 48 states only).
Firearms:
- Handguns ship via UPS 2nd Day Air.
- Long guns ship via UPS Ground.
Restricted Locations:
- No shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APOs, or P.O. Boxes.
Order Weight & Splitting Packages
UPS weight limit: 45 lbs per package.
- Orders exceeding this limit will be split into multiple shipments and additional labels will be created. If you are shipping to an FFL dealer this may result in additional fees from the receiving FFL Dealer.
FFL Dealer & Firearms Shipping
- Firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL Dealer for transfer.
- Buyers are responsible for contacting the dealer before ordering to ensure acceptance of the shipment.
- If a Custom FFL Dealer refuses delivery, the buyer assumes liability for return shipping costs.
Order Changes, Fees & Cancellations
- Order cancellations are accepted within 3 hours of purchase, provided processing has not yet begun.
- Once an order has begun processing, shipped, and or refused upon delivery, it will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Incorrect shipping addresses
- Can be corrected at no charge before shipment.
- After shipment, a per-package address correction fee applies.
Restocking Fees & Returns
- Refused packages, incorrect addresses, or failure to arrange FFL pickup will incur a 20% restocking fee.
Ammunition & Firearms
- All sales are final and non-returnable due to legal and safety regulations.
Non-ammo items (accessories, gear, etc.)
- Return eligibility varies—contact customer service for details.

Buying Ammo Online at Target Sports USA is affordable and convenient. For the most part, your ammunition order will be delivered right to your door step within few days after placing it online at our website TargetSportsUSA.com. However, there are few exceptions where are are not allowed to ship ammunition. Please see the table below:

Important Update for California Residents Regarding Ammunition Orders
At Target Sports USA, we are committed to full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Due to recent legal developments in California related to ammunition sales, we have updated our order fulfillment process to ensure alignment with the current legal framework.
As of now, we are unable to ship ammunition directly to California residents. However, eligible customers may still place ammunition orders through our website by routing the shipment to a licensed FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer within California.
⚠️ This update pertains strictly to ammunition. Other regulated items remain restricted and cannot be processed or shipped through this method.
How To Use An FFL Dealer? Here’s How:
You can route your ammunition order through a licensed FFL dealer:
1) At checkout, select or enter the address of a licensed FFL dealer in California who will accept the shipment on your behalf.
2) Contact the dealer in advance to ensure they are willing to receive ammunition shipments and complete the required background check.
3) Complete your order as usual—we’ll ship directly to the FFL dealer, and you can pick up your order there once it’s ready.
Important Notice: City of Los Angeles
Due to local ordinances, we cannot fulfill orders to residential addresses located within the City of Los Angeles. If you reside within city limits, your order must be routed to an authorized FFL dealer.

Given the current legal climate and the regulations on shipping ammunition to New York, Target Sports USA is designing a Dealer program in order to continue to serve our loyal customers.
Here is How...
If the Ship to Address is a New York address; here are your options:
A. If you are exempt under the new law (e.i. Law Enforcement, Peace Officers, or an FFL) please check the box "I am Exempt" box and upload a copy of your credentials. You are all set!
B. If you are not exempt, your ammunition order will be shipped to a participating dealer. During the checkout process you will be directed to choose a participating dealer, or if dealer of your choice is not listed, you can enter your own (please make sure they are aware of receiving your ammo order). Once the order has been placed, you and the chosen dealer will receive order confirmation and tracking information once shipped. Once the ammo order has arrived, within 10 days please head to dealer with your ID and get your ammo.
