Winchester has created a packaged deal on ammunition that contains 20 rounds, 10 rounds of 225 grain Jacketed Hollow Point bullets and 10 shells of 410 Gauge 2 1/2" to make one of the best defense cartridges made! Upon impact, the jacketed hollow point initiates expansion up to 1-1/2 times the size of the original bullet diameter. The unique notching in the bullet creates six equal segments creating maximum expansion on impact. Winchester chose nickel plated brass to maximize reliability through smooth chambering and case ejection. The engineers have welded together the lead core and copper jacket to obtain controlled expansion and a higher weight retention. The bonding can also take on the toughest barriers at varied ranges and velocities to simulate real world threat. The 410 Gauge features a 2 1/2" Shotshell with a distinctive black hull and black oxide high-base head and combines three plated Defense Disc projectiles and 12 pellets of plated BB shot.
