Berger Ammunition

starstarstarstarstar

I had to give 5 stars across the board. When they arrived I thought WTF is this. ABM who? Then I noticed Berger Bullets, match grade cartridges. For $2 per they had better be good. Well to upstage the competition I HAVE TO SAY THEY USE LAPUA BRASS. I can reload them 10 times at least. Hey we're all getting raped with the prices theses days but might as well get the best we can if we're paying theses prices. I gave 5 stars for performance and haven't shot them yet. Unless they stuffed the cartridges with marshmallows they gotta be winners. "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition and we'll all stay free".

Berger Ammunition, a U.S.-based manufacturer with roots in precision bullet design, is widely recognized for producing some of the most accurate and consistent long-range ammo on the market. Founded by Walt Berger, the company originally gained prominence through its handcrafted bullets used by benchrest and competitive shooters. Berger has since expanded into complete ammunition production, focusing on precision rifle cartridges for both civilian and tactical use.

Known for their high ballistic coefficients and superior consistency, Berger bullets are the core of every cartridge they produce. Their Hybrid and VLD designs combine features of both tangent and secant ogives, offering unmatched flight stability and terminal performance. Berger Ammunition uses premium components, including high-grade brass and temperature-stable powders, making it a top choice for long-range marksmen, precision hunters, and competitive shooters. With a focus on premium performance over mass production, Berger positions itself at the elite end of the ammunition spectrum.

Caliber Availability: Berger focuses on precision rifle calibers such as 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, 300 PRC, and 6.5 PRC. These cartridges are optimized for long-range ballistics and are commonly used in precision rifle series (PRS) competitions and serious hunting applications.

Performance Expectations: Shooters can expect tight tolerances, uniform bullet seating, and top-tier ballistic performance from Berger ammo. Their high-BC bullets are engineered for minimal wind drift and flat trajectories, ideal for precision at distance.

Price & Value: Berger ammunition is a premium offering, priced accordingly. While not intended for high-volume plinking, its cost reflects the level of engineering and quality control that precision shooters demand.
