What Customers Say

Customer feedback shows a 4.59 out of 5 rating across over 214 verified reviews and growing, including over 165 5-star reviews and growing.

I've only really used these .22 round from Aguila on steel plates and casual target shooting from 25 to 50 yards. Great ammo for the price. Feeds as well through my firearms as CCI mini mags. I use these primarily in S&W MP 15-22 and a Ruger Mark II.

MARK H.

Works as well as CCI in my Mark II 22/45 and my S&W 22 victory. It is somewhat dirty, and the waxy coating is annoying. I like it for performance and price. My 10/22 likes it also, but my Henry AR7 doesn't care for it at all. Lots of jams.

John J.

In my Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle this ammo feeds better than Mini-Mags, and is at least as accurate. Who ever heard of a .22 that equals or surpasses Mini-Mags! Well, this Aguila round does.

About Aguila 22 LR

Aguila builds this SuperExtra load around a 40 grain copper-plated Solid Point bullet, a brass case, and a rimfire primer. In general, Solid Point rimfire bullets do not have a hollow cavity and are commonly chosen for simple, consistent performance in target practice, plinking, and small game use.

The high-velocity design is manufacturer-stated to support flat trajectories, accuracy, tight groupings, and smooth cycling. Copper plating helps reduce fouling compared with plain lead bullet surfaces, which can be useful for shooters spending extended time with 22 LR firearms at the range.

For shooters who use 22 LR for target work, plinking, and small game, this Aguila load offers a proven rimfire format with high-velocity performance. Choose a box or case option from the Aguila lineup when you want bulk ammo ready for regular range use.
