Deep Dive

Overview

This ammunition is intended for hunting with rifles chambered in 300 PRC, especially where a heavier bullet is preferred for larger North American game. The 245 grain bullet weight supports the role of the 300 PRC as a high-capacity hunting cartridge designed for strong downrange performance. The Elite Hunter Hybrid bullet is selected for use cases where retained velocity and consistent flight behavior are priorities. This load is suited to hunting scenarios where careful shot placement at longer distances is part of the plan.

History and Development

Berger manufactures bullets and factory-loaded ammunition in the United States with a focus on match-grade production. The company built its reputation in competitive shooting disciplines where consistency and precision are prioritized. Over time, Berger expanded beyond producing projectiles to offering factory ammunition that uses its own bullet designs.
