About CCI 17 HMR
The CCI A17 Varmint Tip load uses a 17 grain Polymer Tip bullet in a Brass case with a Rimfire primer. Polymer Tip bullets are commonly selected for varmint ammunition because the tip helps initiate expansion, and CCI states this bullet is built for rapid expansion and enhanced fragmentation on impact.
This CCI 17 HMR ammo is designed for small game and varmint hunters who want a fast rimfire load with a flat-shooting profile. It is optimized for the Savage Arms A17 rifle and is also compatible with bolt-action 17 HMR firearms, making it a flexible choice for shooters using supported rimfire platforms.
For varmint fields, small game work, and range confirmation, this load fits neatly into the 17 HMR category and the broader CCI lineup. Choose the Box of 200 for regular use, or look to the Case of 2000 when you want a bulk ammo option from Target Sports USA.
