CCI Quiet 22 Long Rifle Ammo 40 Grain Segmented Hollow Point - 970

CCI Quiet 22 Long Rifle Ammunition 40 Grain Segmented Hollow Point - 970

The CCI Quiet 22 Long Rifle Ammunition 40 Grain Segmented Hollow Point is expertly crafted for low-noise shooting scenarios, offering a practical solution for backyard plinking, small game hunting, pest control, and training in noise-sensitive areas. With a muzzle velocity of 710 fps and 45 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, it produces a report that is only 25% as loud as standard velocity 22 LR rounds, making it an excellent choice for situations where discretion is essential.

This ammunition features a 40-grain segmented hollow point bullet, designed to break into multiple fragments upon impact, ensuring effective energy transfer and increased terminal performance for clean, humane kills on small game. It is particularly well-suited for use with bolt-action or single-shot rifles, but can also be safely used in semi-automatics, though it may not reliably cycle the action due to its subsonic velocity.

Constructed with brass casings and non-corrosive primers, the CCI Quiet 22 LR guarantees reliable ignition, smooth feeding, and excellent accuracy. Its subsonic design also makes it a perfect match for rimfire suppressors, further enhancing its quiet operation and appeal to stealth-conscious shooters.

Features and Specifications:

• Noise Reduction: Engineered to operate at a significantly quieter level than standard .22 LR rounds, this cartridge reduces noise by 75%, producing a subsonic muzzle velocity of 710 fps. Ideal for backyard plinking, youth training, and shooting in noise-sensitive areas.
• Segmented Hollow Point Design: Features a 40-grain segmented hollow point bullet that splits into three fragments upon impact. This design ensures maximum energy transfer and enhanced stopping power, making it especially effective for small game hunting and pest control.
• Consistent and Reliable Performance: The combination of brass casing and non-corrosive primers ensures smooth feeding, consistent accuracy, and dependable ignition, even in bolt-action or single-shot firearms.
• Versatility: Designed for use in a variety of firearms, including bolt-action, single-shot, and semi-automatics (though cycling may not always occur in semi-autos). Its quiet performance pairs seamlessly with rimfire suppressors, further reducing the sound signature.
