Deep Dive

Overview

CORBON's JHP 380 Auto Ammunition is primarily tailored for self-defense, designed to mitigate the limitations of standard JHP rounds that may not reliably expand upon impact. By emphasizing high velocity and rapid energy transfer, this round excels in providing the stopping power necessary to neutralize threats efficiently. Its compact size and manageable recoil make it particularly suitable for concealed carry firearms, offering peace of mind for personal protection.

History and Development

The development of the CORBON JHP line was motivated by a need to improve upon the conventional hollow point bullet designs of the early 1980s. During this time, traditional JHP rounds were plagued with issues related to poor expansion and penetration consistency, deficiencies that could compromise defensive effectiveness. In response, CORBON engineered a solution by augmenting bullet velocity, expediting expansion, and thereby enhancing stopping power. This innovation has established CORBON JHP as a benchmark in the industry for its potent combination of speed and ballistic performance.
