What is dragon’s breath ammo?

Dragon’s breath ammo is a specialty shotgun load designed to produce a fiery visual effect when fired. This Holey "S" Ranch version uses a proprietary incendiary metal compound and a buckshot projectile.

Is this dragons breath 12 gauge ammo made for regular hunting?

No. The manufacturer states that this load is not recommended for hunting because of its incendiary nature. It is better matched to the manufacturer-stated roles such as target, defense, demonstration, and signaling use.

What makes these dragon’s breath shotgun shells different from standard buckshot?

Standard buckshot is generally selected for multiple large projectiles. These dragonbreath shells add an incendiary compound intended to create a dramatic wall-of-fire visual effect, making them a specialty load rather than a conventional field or range shell.

Are dragon breath rounds suitable for defense applications?

The manufacturer lists this ammunition as suitable for defense and target applications. As with any specialty shotgun shell, the shooter should use it only in a compatible firearm and in an appropriate setting for incendiary ammunition.

What components are verified for this 12 Gauge load?

The verified specs list Buckshot as the projectile, a Shotgun Casing, and a Shotgun Primer. Muzzle velocity and muzzle energy are not provided for this product.

What packaging is available for this dragon breath 12 gauge ammo?

The listed packaging is Box of 5 / Case of 100. That gives shoppers a compact box option or a case quantity when they want more on hand.
