What Customers Say

Customers rate this load 4.89 out of 5 across over 697 verified reviews and growing, with over 636 5-star reviews and growing.

Not the cheapest ammo but for home defense it’s well worth it. I only shot 10 rounds of it threw my home defense weapon (hk vp9) to test it and no mishaps. I was able to keep a super tight group and had low recoil compared to my federal ae 124gr Target ammo.

Michael F.

Use this defensive round in my 3.2" - 4.1" barrel semi-auto carry guns. The ballistic testing results are right where I want them for my carry guns. Flexible tips good for preventing clogging of hollow points & ballistics results show no overpenetration.

Richard S.

I purchased this in part of a process I went through in determining what ammo to use in my carry gun. Critical defense had low recoil and high accuracy for my firearm. It fired without problems and separate research showed it has good ballistics.
