Hornady Custom 454 Casull Ammunition 300 Grain XTP Jacketed Hollow Point - 9150 ammo review offers the following information; Hornady Custom ammunition cartridges are extremely accurate and deliver optimum knockdown power. Built to the tightest tolerances for peak performance rivaling and sometimes surpassing handloads in many pistols. Hornady produces most of the brass for the Custom line of handgun ammunition. All other brass is chosen to guarantee it meets Hornady's high standards for dependable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness, and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures. Each cartridge is loaded to ensure optimal pressure, velocity, and consistency from lot to lot. Similar to the powder, each primer is carefully matched to individual loads, and specifically selected for their ability to quickly, completely, and reliably ignite the powder charge. This Hornady Custom 454 Casull ammo is loaded with a 300 grain XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) Jacketed Hollow Point bullet. Designed for hunting, self-defense and law enforcement applications, the XTP bullet demonstrates the kind of accuracy which led many competitive shooters to adopt it. Its reliable performance makes the XTP the most popular handgun bullet for both target shooters and hunters. Hornady Custom 454 Casull is non-corrosive, new production ammunition in boxer primer and reloadable brass cases. Hornady Custom 454 Casull ammo is packaged in boxes of 25 rounds or cases of 250 rounds. Purchase Hornady Custom 454 Casull bulk ammo from Target Sports USA and receive free shipping!
Precise serrations divide the XTP into symmetrical sections, strategically weakening the jacket and initiating controlled expansion
Total uniformity of core density on the XTP bullet ensures balanced expansion as well as in-flight stability
XTP bullets were specifically designed to expand reliably at a wide range of handgun velocities to deliver deep penetration
