Hornady Superformance 7mm Remington Magnum Ammunition 162 Grain SST (Super Shock Tip) - 80633

The Hornady Superformance 7mm Remington Magnum Ammunition, loaded with a 162-grain SST (Super Shock Tip) bullet, is a top-tier choice for hunters and long-range shooting enthusiasts seeking superior performance and precision. Designed with Hornady's cutting-edge Superformance technology, this ammunition delivers velocities 100 to 200 fps faster than standard rounds without increasing recoil, muzzle blast, or fouling.

The SST bullet features a polymer tip that enhances its ballistic coefficient for improved efficiency and accuracy. Upon impact, the tip initiates controlled expansion, while the bullet’s one-piece core and reinforced jacket ensure superior weight retention and deep penetration. This design provides hunters with reliable terminal performance, even at extended ranges.

Superformance ammunition employs advanced propellants that optimize pressure curves for consistent performance in various firearms, including bolt-actions, semi-autos, lever guns, and pump actions. Engineered for versatility, this ammo withstands extreme conditions, from freezing temperatures to intense heat, without compromising accuracy or functionality. Each round is constructed with a non-corrosive Boxer primer and reloadable brass casing, meeting Hornady’s high standards for quality and dependability.

Superformance provides increased performance, and is safe to use in all firearms, including semi-autos, lever gun and pump actions

Superformance provides increases in rifle performance, no increases in barrel wear and felt recoil, along with superior temperature stability

The SST bullet combines proven Hornady performance with a higher ballistic coefficient than available with most hunting bullets
