Rated 4.65 out of 5 across over 60 verified reviews and growing, this Norma Range and Training 9mm uses a 124 grain Full Metal Jacket bullet for dependable practice in the 9mm Luger category. Built with brass cases and Boxer centerfire primers, this Norma 9 mm load is made for range drills, training courses, and target shooting with the smooth operation and minimal fouling Norma states for its Range and Training line.
Why Shooters Choose Norma 9mm Luger
- Practice-Focused Load: Norma Range and Training ammo is engineered for target shooting, range drills, and training courses. It is positioned by Norma for both beginners and competitive shooters.
- 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket: The 124 grain FMJ bullet gives shooters a familiar 9mm Luger practice load. Full Metal Jacket bullets are commonly used for range work because they are built for feeding and target use rather than expansion.
- Verified Ballistics: This Norma 124 grain 9mm load is listed at 1181 fps with 382 ft lbs of muzzle energy. Those specs help shoppers compare it clearly against other 9mm Luger 124 grain options.
- Brass-Cased Centerfire Build: Brass cases and Boxer centerfire primers give this cartridge a standard range-ammo construction. That combination is familiar to shooters who want conventional 9mm training ammunition.
- Smooth Operation Focus: Norma states this ammunition is engineered for smooth operation. That matters for repetitive drills where consistent function supports productive practice.
- Minimal Fouling Design: The manufacturer notes minimal residue and fouling for this Range and Training line. Less fouling can help keep practice sessions moving with less interruption for cleaning.
- Box or Case Options: Packaging is available as a Box of 50 or Case of 1000. The case option is useful for shooters who want to keep Norma 9mm ammo on hand for regular range trips.
What Customers Say
Rated 4.65 out of 5 across over 60 verified reviews and growing, with over 49 five-star ratings and growing.
Performs about the same as New Republic, and I like the much smaller box, so doesn't take up as much room in a range bag or ammo can. I've shot about 2k of this thru both comped and un-comped pistols with zero issues.

Received a case that
"Received a case that had apparently been dropped. The individual boxes used plastic nibs to hold bullets in place. i had 3 boxes that had been hit on one end and had broken nibs roll out when I opened them. The same boxes all had four bullets each that had been shoved into the case far enough that the bullets were not usable."
