Underwood 9x18mm Makarov Ammunition 115 Grain Flat Nose Hard Cast - 721 :The Hi-Tek coating provides the durability of a hard-cast projectile with the cleanliness typically found in copper-jacketed or plated rounds.
Hi-Tek is a polymer-based compound that not only minimizes fouling in the barrel but also significantly reduces airborne lead exposure, making it suitable for some indoor ranges. Without the need for wax lubrication and with reduced airborne lead, each shot produces noticeably less smoke.
Hi-Tek is not nylon, PTFE (Teflon), or molybdenum.
The hard-cast flat-nose bullets are powerful, non-expanding rounds designed with outdoor defense in mind. Whether you’re protecting yourself from wild hogs or black bears, these bullets offer reliable penetration and are engineered to handle tough encounters with wildlife.
Unlike traditional round-nose, non-expanding bullets, flat-nose bullets are capable of penetrating dense targets while maintaining a forward-facing trajectory, maximizing their penetration potential.
Our nickel-plated brass casings offer numerous advantages: smoother feeding in all firearm actions, improved corrosion resistance over traditional brass, enhanced aesthetics, and easier cleanup during reloading. These casings resist tarnishing during storage and exposure to materials like leather, moisture, and other metals.
As with all Underwood Ammo rounds, we use flash-suppressed powder to protect your vision if you need to fire in low-light conditions.
Utilizing advanced testing equipment, this high-performance ammunition undergoes rigorous field testing with popular firearms, simulating real-world conditions our customers may experience. This ammunition is newly manufactured, non-corrosive, and features boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.
